WHO’S THAT GIRL?
Hi, I’m Abbey Bowling.
From majoring in journalism to working as a marketing writer, I’ve spent my entire life in search of stories to write. Blogs, journals, poems, books, essays, articles. I’m always itching to write something. I’m fascinated by stories because stories make us who we are — we make sense of the world through narrative.
I earned my bachelor’s in Journalism from Abilene Christian University. During my time at ACU, I also discovered a love of art and design, which I’ve applied in professional positions and my own creative pursuits. I bring writing + design expertise to every job, as well as experience in video editing, social media management, and email marketing.
I’m a native Texan, but I’ve always felt like my soul would feel most at home in a small café tucked away on a rainy street somewhere in the English countryside, curled up with a good book and a hot coffee. I’m a lover of Taylor Swift, going to the movies, an edge-of-your-seat mystery, musical theater, and getting lost in a big city.
